Cold Weather and Household Mold

Cold weather does not prevent Mold Growth in a house.

Mold grows on the walls of rooms, leaving spores to grow and spread around a room or a building. This can be harmful if it is inhaled regularly by people living inside the home. Mold also emits mycotoxins which are poisonous for humans and animals alike when ingested into the body. Mold can be prevented from growing by keeping the temperature of your house or apartment below 50°F - which is NOT realistic nor advised.
